In this piece, I have depicted a girl on the steps of a grand historic building. Her large, rugged boot takes center stage, creating a strong perspective. As she drinks from a cup and looks up, a sharp contrast is created with the detailed stone carvings and arches behind her. I created this piece to examine how modern fashion interacts with historical settings, blending different eras into a cohesive visual narrative.
