“What I create, is me” – Flore Zoe.
Images are a powerful medium of self-reflection and self-expression because they deliver meaning and portray emotions. We crawl back into the pictorial memory that stands still against the ravages of time. This was the underlying principle for the 5-day workshop hosted by EdNet in collaboration with the distinguished photographer, Kaamna Patel. The workshop sailed students across many genres focusing on building a narrative through capturing devices. Through readings, presentations and assignments, the students comprehended basic and advanced photography principles and concepts, and took their first steps towards exploring the language of images through a variety of photography genres.
In these strange and unprecedented times, remote education seems to be the only key solution to cover up the loss for education. In such trying times, EdNet took the initiative to arrange video lessons that enabled students to take art classes from the comfort of their homes, keeping their safety at top priority. Even though virtual classrooms are no substitute for the in-house classes but this initiative has made lives easier and learning more accessible.
