Description

The piece captures a moment of stillness shared between two figures drawn in charcoal. I built them through broken tones, letting light and shadow fall in sharp angles that drift between realism and abstraction. Their identities stay intentionally open. The dual figures symbolize the idea of parallel states like youth and maturity, presence and absence, action and reflection. Their relaxed postures, caught mid-breath, make the scene feel like it is suspended in time and caught between motion and contemplation. By layering sharp contrasts with soft transitions, the work becomes a meditation on duality and the depth in silence.
