This is a self-portrait with a slit down the middle, like a peek inside me. I tucked pictures of flowers between the dark layers of paper to make it pop in 3D. I made it because I wanted to show that some parts of ourselves stay hidden, even as we change. The flowers are my little rebellion, proof that even from dark corners, something bright and alive can bloom.
