Enduring persistent acne for a year plunged me into depression, anxiety, and an overwhelming state. However, I’ve recently embraced the realization that acne doesn’t dictate my existence, instilling newfound confidence in my skin. The artwork embodies my anxiety through turbulent waves, while a close-up of my face bares not only the acne but also the underlying skeletal structure.
