I created this piece from my time in boarding school, when medication was used to manage what felt unmanageable. The three faces show the selves I moved between: the version expected of me, the distorted side effects, and the emptiness that followed. Scratched capsules and tangled threads run through the work, showing control mistaken for care. It reflects how the drugs blurred my identity, leaving me unsure of who I was without them.
