Description

This still life is my way of showing how culture lives in everyday lives. I was especially drawn to the textures, the soft patterns of the Persian-style rug, the shine on the instrument, and the fragile clarity of the glass. Painting them helped me slow down and really see how light, colour, and surfaces interact. More than anything, I liked how the objects seemed to “speak” to each other without using words, creating a quiet atmosphere that feels both personal and familiar.
