Description

The observation painting on the left is from a phase in my life where i spent at least an hour on makeup to achieve the “perfect” look concealed dark circles, acne covered with setting powder, the perfect lip combo. I thrived on the ideal of perfection. This piece portrays that very moment of helplessness. The painting on the right is when I came out of that loop. I was the happiest. No makeup, no façade.
