This piece started as me simply sketching lines onto Styrofoam, not really knowing where it would go. As I carved, a face began to emerge. Part real, part abstract, almost like it was revealing itself to me bit by bit. The cut-out window on the side felt accidental at first, but then I realized it could be a way of showing how we all have parts of ourselves that stay hidden, while others come forward. For me, this work is less about perfection and more about discovery. The simple act of shaping, erasing, and carving until something human begins to look back.
