This piece is an ode to past memories and aims t celebrate female friendships in my life. I have grown up with two of my closest childhood friends who act as a strong guiding force in my life even after I moved to another country to study. The three figures at the bottom of the piece represent the three of us and the main figure shows how even after growing up, they will always be a part of my life and my journey. I wanted to give this piece a very modern appeal to show independence and strength by converting it into a mixed media piece and using strong colors such as electric blue and red.
