Description

The artwork alongside is of a victorian women who is driven under societal norms and pressure.I imagined a lantern and gave yellow highlights to her face because that is the only light in her life.This piece features layering of scraps of fabric and lining of different threads according to the facial structure of the lady.The background has been made by carving out the wood with carving tools and painting it brown in some areas to give it depth.
