What is the JEE Main Paper 2 Exam?
The JEE Main Paper 2 is also referred to as the B. Arch entrance exam. It is usually held nation-wide during the Class XII board exams or immediately after. According to the latest notification from NTA, candidates in preparation to take admission in B.Arch courses through JEE Main in 2019 should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level and should also have secured above 50% marks in each subject.
The exam is divided into three sections. The first section consists of questions that evaluate students’ mathematical abilities. The second part consists of architectural aptitude with questions to test 3D visualization skills of students, their knowledge on building construction, well-known architects and famous buildings. The third part is a drawing test that evaluates the creative ability of students, along with their presentation skills and ability to come up with unique solutions. The answer sheets are scrutinised by a panel that consists of experts in areas of mathematics, architectural construction and artists.

JEE Main 2019 Eligibility Criteria
NTA released a notice about changes in the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Arch courses through JEE Main 2019.
For the JEE Main exam 2019, NTA released a notice about changes in the eligibility criteria for admission to B.Arch courses. Only applicants who satisfy the criteria are only eligible to fill the application form. The eligibility criteria are given below:
Age limit: No age limit to be eligible for JEE Main 2019.
Candidates either must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination.
Candidates who are appearing for 10+2 or equivalent exam in the same year are also eligible.
Candidates must have secured 50% marks in aggregate.
It is compulsory for candidates to have taken five subjects at 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam.
The subjects for B. Arch/B. Planning are – Language, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and one other subject of the student’s choice.
